Port Credit is our home. Our salon is at 102 Lakeshore Road East, just east of Hurontario Street. If you come by GO train, it is a short walk south from Port Credit GO Station.
We see a lot of clients who fit a wax in after work or before a walk down to the harbour. Most face and underarm waxes take only a few minutes, so it is easy to squeeze in.

What we do
Here is what most people book with us. Every service is done in a private room by our trained team.
We use a hard wax made for below-the-belt areas. It holds the hair, not the skin, so it pulls less. We talk you through each step, which helps a lot on a first visit.
Neck to toes in one visit. Soft wax covers big areas like legs and arms. Hard wax handles the small, tender spots. Plan for a longer visit and wear loose clothes.
For brows, lip and chin we use a stripless wax that can lift hairs as short as 1 mm. Underarms get hard wax, which is kinder to thin skin.
Good to know
Waxing is a simple, natural hair removal method. There are no lasers and no creams that melt hair. The wax lifts each hair from the root, so the skin stays smooth much longer than after a shave. The American Academy of Dermatology says waxing results can last a few weeks or longer.
In our salon we use three kinds of wax. Our soft wax has coconut oil and is used on legs and arms. Our white chocolate hard wax is made for Brazilian and bikini areas. For the face, a low-heat stripless wax lifts very short, stubborn hairs.
If you use Accutane, retinol, or some acne creams, your skin can be thin and may tear when wax comes off. Please stop retinol and acid creams at least 7 days before your visit, and stop Accutane at least one year before. Tell us about any new medicine or antibiotic when you book.

About 1/4 inch, or the size of a grain of rice. That is often 2 to 3 weeks after you last shaved. If it is too short, the wax cannot grab it.
It stings for a second, then fades. Hard wax on tender spots helps a lot. Most people find it gets easier after the first few visits, since the hair often grows back finer.
