Our salon is in Port Credit, Mississauga, at 102 Lakeshore Road East. It is not in Alderwood, but it is close. About 15 minutes in normal traffic:

Let’s be honest: waxing stings. The American Academy of Dermatology notes that removing wax can be painful. These are the tips we share with every nervous client.
About 1/4 inch is best. Too short and we have to go over it twice. Too long and it pulls more.
Lift dead skin so the wax grabs hair, not skin. Do not scrub on the day.
Some clients find skin feels more tender after a lot of caffeine. Water is a better pick that morning.
Many people feel more sensitive right before or during their period. A few days later often feels easier.
It sounds simple, but a slow breath out as we pull really helps. We will count you in.
Every 4 to 6 weeks keeps hair on the same cycle. Many clients find each visit gets easier.

Why wax
Waxing is one of the most natural hair removal methods there is. No lasers and no chemical creams, just wax that lifts each hair from the root. That is why results last weeks, not days. The American Academy of Dermatology says waxing results can last a few weeks or longer.
The trade-off? It stings for a moment, and you need about 1/4 inch of regrowth before each visit. We think that is a fair deal for weeks of smooth skin.

$58 on our current menu. A bikini line is $30.
Let hair grow to about 1/4 inch. Stop retinol and acid creams 7 days before, and wait one year after Accutane. Skip lotion and oil on the day.
